In this piece, I used a light source, shown by the yellow star, to help create the illusion of form. I added highlights on the sides of the shapes facing the light source, midtones where the light started to fade, and shadows on the sides farthest from the light. Using highlights, midtones, and shadows helped my shapes look more three-dimensional and realistic instead of flat.

I made a 3D drawing of a laptop using an isometric grid in this artwork. This grid helped me keep the angles even and made the computer look realistic and balanced. I used the grid to line up the keyboard, screen, and other parts so they all fit together from the same perspective.

I chose colors carefully to show depth and lighting. I used dark blues and purples for shadows and lighter blues and pinks for highlights. The see-through pink screen shows how computers have many layers, like different tabs or windows open at once.

This piece is not just a drawing of a laptop—it’s a way to show how digital life is full of layers and structure. I wanted to mix creativity with careful design to show how technology and art can work together.
